AMAZING DAY. MR WANY’S Birthday in Milano Feb 09.
Monday, March 2nd, 2009MR WANY Itallian mainstay of the HEAVY ARTILLERY decided to celebrate his birthday by putting on a small event, this small event quickly swelled to around 100 writers from Italy and the rest of Europe.
The theme was based on Dante’s divine comedy.
Which to anyone not sure what that is its a really old story about some dudes decent through the 9 rings of hell. nice..
HEAVY ARTILLERY rolled deep so the roll call read something like this – ALERT GARY JIROE ODISY RENCH GEBES STORM ROID AROE and of course MR WANY. (TWESH and RELAY were busy doing doings or something.. so they weren’t in attendance).
Upon our arrival in Milano we had to go through the nightmare that is getting everyone around and get everyone met heres us doing some of that..
Quite a few of the HEAVY ARTILLERY, with VIPER, BUE, PUPPET and some other dudes..

Now the average height of an Itallian is around 4 foot tall so the cars and vehicles reflect that..
Heavweight dubbing.
Besides Milan being a graffiti epicentre its apparently something to do with fashion..
Imagine needing the toilet and relieving yourself into this archaic hole in the ground wearing prada and gucci, thats fashion. The most distressing thing about this image is that these ‘warzone standard’ toilets are common place..
Anyways lets get back to the reason for the trip to Milan.
The jam. it was technically a hole in the ground but it was better than it looks and the joiner is insane.

The next day we went and decorated a park in the northern part of the city, the results are on the flickr so peep them there.
All in all i would say the moving 10 people around Milan caused problems but that aside there was more paint than we knew what to do with and the company was great. I would like to take this chance to explode the myth that all the food in Italy is incredible i can asure you it is not. I’m pretty sure we will all be going back several times this year but not at the same time..
